Pastor Javier Scharon, known by many as Pastor Javi, serves as the Lead Pastor of Dover First Seventh-day Adventist Church. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with an emphasis in Urban Ministry and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Andrews University. His greatest passion is helping people encounter Jesus through evangelism, discipleship, and meaningful relationships. Pastor Javi loves walking alongside others in their spiritual journey and pointing them to the hope and joy found in Christ.
Outside of ministry, Pastor Javi enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. Whether playing basketball, going on motorcycle rides, or simply making everyday memories together, family time is something he deeply treasures.
